...About Being in Demand

yes yes, i know i know...i have the greatest blogs...well, sometimes i do.
anyway, as per your request steve (and all you other people...the 2, maybe 3 or 4 of you, that want more but havent said it) here is a new blog:



This past weekend was AMAZING! I spent it all with Ronnie and we had such a good time. That man is fabulous and I love him more and more everyday! We went around on Saturday looking at banquet halls to see where we want to have our engagement party and we concluded that we would hold it at the Mississauga Convention Center. Which means Jenn that you will have to drive quite a bit to get there...yes yes, of course you are invited. You're my girl, girl! (mmm, cheeese...i just toasted bread and melted cheese, delish!..i will try to not get my laptop dirty...anyway, that was random i know...). As for my woodbridge gals, the drive over won't be so bad. I am still contemplating whether or not I want to invite Daniela, my b-town sista!...i've already told her she's number 11 on my friends guest list and i am only inviting 10 max. anyways, that besides the point....besides that lil arrangement, we ate out, met some friends and had a jolly old time. lol. He'll be back in 19 days!

Today I have to go and talk to our planner Javier...that's spanish so the J sounds like kh...or in other words, like you are going to hork. say it with me now, JAVIER. we have the same sound in arabic so for us its not hard to prounouce. anyway, we have to talk about the menu and what we want served so my uncle, the nenowned (sp??) chef is coming with us because he knows what 'good food' is. so i've been told....actually no, its true, he totally does, so i am glad that he is helping me with this process.

on top of all that, i need to figure out what gown i am going to wear, flower arrangements, invitations, the guest list, center pieces, a colour theme (which comes after i figure out my dress), maybe bonboniers (sp?), photographer/videographer, cake and other little things that i am sure i have to take care of but i am not aware of quite yet.

*sigh*

and i have school.

oh well.

in all honesty, putting aside the 'little' stress that comes with this, and the mayhem too, i am very excited and so happy. i can't wait until we have that party. its gonna be HUGE! and best of all, all the people i love, my close family and friends...and maybe the mayor of mississauga and springdale rep Ruby Dahla (my bro works in ottawa at the parliment for the liberal party and represents her team)..will be there with me. ITS GONNA BE GREAT! WHOO HOO!!!

ok, gotta go to Javier (man, that was a hoker...lol).

4 More days!

and then what will happen you ask?

RONNIE WILL BE HERE!! YEAH!!!

I am sooo excited! I miss him like crazy!
Man, I love him so much it's unbelievable.
Hopefully you all will be able to meet him...which I am thinking is totally possible, because on Friday he's going to be picking me up from school, so maybe he can come to the office. hmmm....we'll have to see how that goes.

In the meantime, I am trying to get someone to cover my Friday shift because I don't want to work that night if he's going to be here, but so far no luck. Boo-urns! We have a list of things to do when he arrives, and one of them is going to the Apple store to get me a new laptop. I think he's going to get one too, so we'll see how that goes. Maybe we can bargain since we're both purchasing one..right D? ha ha! Anyway, I hope I don't have to work...

...About Feeling Good and Sick

Interesting combonition, isn't it?

Well it's true, what can I say.

I feel good about:
My placement school, HT and students. Oh what a difference it is from the past two years. It's official. I am not going to get a job at a school that is older than 10 years. Which really isn't hard to find, especially in Peel I would think. My HT is super nice! I love her control of the classroom and her relationship with the students. And the kids are just so obidient...I know, I make them sound like dogs, but its true. AND! She has given me next Monday morning off so that I can take Ronnie to the airport when he leaves from his visit. And I don't think I have to make it up either! Whoo hoo! Also, unlike some of my unfortunate friends, a criminal record check is not all the necessary to have while I am teaching. I mean, yes, I will need it, but right now I can still teach even though I don't have it, as long as it's on the way.

I feel sick about:
well..I just feel sick. I have caught a cold. BOO! Maybe its from my mom..or dad...or lil bro...maybe its even from Daniela, because she insisted on kissing me the other day...and of course I agreed to it (can ya blame me??), but she did not tell me that she was sick damn it! So now I am suffering the consequences. Would I do it again, even if she did tell me? Ya damn right I would. I love that girl!

Listen, I am not feeling well. My brain is not functioning properly. As a result, the words that are running from my head to these sexy fingers of mine could be complete gibberish. Hell, they could be absolutely true, because maybe getting sick (like getting drunk for some) only makes me 'honest.' who knows. you guys be the judge, and come to your own conclusions about all this.

Either way, I think I am so damn funny. I mean I am not 'lol' but inside my mind I am cracking up (so i am 'lolimm'...laughing out loud in my mind)...a lot of things happen in my mind...hmmm...well ok I think i should stop now.

Anyway....take care everyone, and be careful. I think a virus is going around and you could get sick..and this virus goes by the name of Daniela!

How the virus works:


Said virus...look how happy and 'nice' she looks. A disguise to fool those around her.


The virus finds her victim.
Jenn: unknowing of the virus' motives, she still remains quite suspicious.



The virus wins! Somehow, she is able to fool Jenn and make her think that nothing is wrong. She can now make her move. Poor Jenn. So happy, but soon she will feel so sick.

...About the End of Summer

...but the real question is, when did it begin?
April, May, June, July, and now August just flew right by...summer came and went without a worry-free or stress-free day. I didn't even get to say hello and welcome it here. Bummer.

And now school is about to begin. Which also means that I am about to enter my final year of university, as a few of us are. That's exciting...but perhaps a little scarier than exciting. No?

Either way, this is it. I am beginning another school year but ending it at the same time.
*sigh*

We are all slowly closing another chapter in our lives...I wonder how the next one will begin....?
